Participants in the Stamford Lacrosse Association are required to provide their own lacrosse equipment. For safety reasons, it is essential to have properly fitted equipment. Equipment pricing can vary significantly, so please contact us so we can direct you to area merchants with reasonable pricing. Local merchants often run pre-season specials.

Stamford Lacrosse Association will not allow participants to play or practice without all of their protective equipment. If a participant is missing equipment, they will be required to sit out. It is the participant's responsibility, not the parent's, to make sure that they have all of their equipment ready for for practice.

Our colors are navy blue, white and red. We recommend boys purchase a white helmet.

Required Equipment

Helmet, mouth guard, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, stick, protective cup and appropriate footwear (cleats - no running shoes).

Goggles, mouth guard, stick and appropriate footwear (cleats - no running shoes).

Need Based Scholarship Recipients:

Stamford Lacrosse Association will maintain a limited supply of boys and girls equipment for use by our need based scholarship recipients. This equipment is for loan during the Spring lacrosse season and must be returned at the end of the season. Parents are financially responsible for any lost or damaged equipment. Participants who fail to return SLA equipment will be prohibited for future participation in Stamford Lacrosse Association programs.
