Scholarship Information

The Stamford Lacrosse Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of Stamford, Connecticut opportunities to learn and play the sport of lacrosse.    

The Stamford Lacrosse Association offers "Need Based" Scholarships for participants. This scholarship rate is a substantial discount to the regular program fee. 

In addition to the discounted rate, scholarship recipients may be able to borrow lacrosse equipment from the Stamford Lacrosse Association to use during the Spring season. There is a limited supply of this equipment and it must be returned at the end of the season. Parents/Legal Guardians are financially responsible for any unreturned or damaged equipment.

In order to apply for a scholarship please submit a "Need Request" to SLA. Your request will be kept in strict confidence. Requests are considered during the registration period for the spring season and apply only toward the spring season for which the request is made. 

Scholarship recipients are still required to purchase their own US Lacrosse membership. The price of the US Lacrosse membership is not included in the Stamford Lacrosse Association registration fee.
